Your advantage will start early at 7:00 AM from Foum Zguid A 4x4 vehicle is suitable for desert terrain as the route ahead is rugged and sandy. We will drive through different desert landscapes. The first meeting with the Sahara will be the beautiful oasis of Elmadouar and the Tajine mountains. Then we will visit the prehistoric site of fossils. Continue southwest towards the Chegaga dunes, passing through the stunning desert of Lake Iriki. You’ll encounter a vast, wide landscape dotted with acacia trees, stony hamadas, and the occasional nomad tents. The tour offers a sense of solitude and vastness of the Moroccan Sahara. You will see camels, small nomadic camps, and desert animals along the way. Visit the nomadic school which a Spanish non-governmental association created called Imagine to help the nomad children study how to write and read where you can meet the children and their teachers. Continue our tour towards the Chegaga dunes, the most famous dunes in Morocco. The view will change into rolling golden dunes. The Chegaga dunes stretch as far as the eye can see. Lunch will be in a Bedouin desert camp with a toilet and shower. You will have some free time to explore the dunes. You can hike up the dunes to enjoy panoramic views of the endless sea of sand, or simply relax and take in the silence of the desert. You could also inform our team in advance if you would like to arrange for a camel ride, which adds a traditional touch to your desert experience.

At 4:00 Pm we will start our journey back to Foum Zguid to arrive in Foum Zguid before sunset
