In the morning, your driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel/Riad or nearby. You will start your desert tour towards Lake Iriki. Lake Iriki and the big dunes of Erg Elmhazil are only 367 km away from Marrakech. The desert of Lake Iriki is the closest desert to Marrakech. On the way, we will have many stops in the High Atlas Mountains. We'll stop to take pictures and rest before we continue to Foum Zguid. There, we will have our lunch. Only 1 km after Foum Zguid, we will leave the paved road and start our desert adventure. From now on, we'll only be driving on pistes. Our first stop will be close to the Tajine Mountain a beautiful oasis in the middle of nowhere. After we've continued in the direction of Lake Iriki with a stop at the fossil place. It's impressive to drive to the big dry lake Iriki. In the middle of the lake, we will turn left to enter the dunes, and we will reach the largest one Erg Elmhazil. At the bottom of these dunes, you'll find your camel team. You'll ride up the big dune to see the sunset from there after your camel will bring you to Bivouac les Nomades. There, the Lake Iriki nomads will welcome you with a cup of tea. In Bivouac les Nomades, you'll sleep in your private tent. The team will cook delicious local food. You'll enjoy some nomadic music and drumming around the fire.

In the early morning, you can enjoy the sunrise from the top of the dunes of Lake Iriki desert. After you return to the camp, you will have one hour to eat breakfast. Then, we'll start our tour back to Marrakech. Your lunch will be in the High Atlas Mountains. We will have a one-hour break. You can relax and stretch your legs. We will drop you off at or close to your accommodation in the late evening.
