Itinerary of The Tour
Following breakfast, our 4-day Desert tour begins with a brief visit to Morocco’s largest industrial city. We’ll marvel at the impressive Hassan II Mosque and also the Corniche. Following our visit, we’ll set out on our journey towards the Red city Marrakech. Upon arrival, we’ll dedicate the rest of the day to exploring Marrakech. Highlights include the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Medersa Ben Youssef, Marrakech Museum, Koutoubia Mosque, bustling souks, the Mellah, and other places(it depends on the time we arrive to Marrakech). As night falls, Jamaa El Fena Square lights up and comes alive. Enjoy free time to stroll around. Overnight in the Riad.
The second day of our 4 Days Desert Tour from Casablanca to Fes with a departure from Marrakech at 8:00 a.m., crossing the magnificent Tizin'Tichka Pass (2260m), which unfurls breathtaking vistas of the High Atlass Mountains and Berber towns. Along the way, we make brief stops to enjoy the ladscapes of the Hight Atlass Mountains, appreciating the breathtaking scenes during the trip to Ouarzazate.Then we arrive to wonderful UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, an antiquated braced town immortalized in cinematic showstoppers like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, 红海行动 (Operation Red Sea), and Game of Thrones. In the midst of the earthen tones and intricate architecture, we start exploring the rich history of this iconic kasbah. After a delicious lunch in this wonderful place, the experience proceeds through Ouarzazate, with an optional visit to the renowned Atlas Film Studio. The beautiful drive proceeds to the Valley of Roses, renowned for the cultivation of Damask roses used to produce rose water and various rose-infused products like perfumes, soaps, and cosmetics. Optionally, we can stop at some local cooperatives to see how cosmetic products are locally made. Finally, we proceed driving to Boumalne Dades, where you'll check into our Hotel, giving a quiet setting for supper and a relaxing overnight stay.
We begin the second day of our Merzouga Desert Tour with a delightful breakfast. Then we start exploring the beauty of Todra Valley, with a wonderful stop at the Todra Gorges, where towering vertical mountains make a breathtaking view. The tour proceeds through Berber towns like Tinjdad and Melaab , driving to Touroug for a well-deserved lunch break. As we approach Erfoud, known for its marbles and fossils,the desert air envelops you, increasing the sense of experience. Then we continue ahead, we'll arrive to the mysterious sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, where we'll chnage our vehicle for camels to set out on a mesmerizing camel ride. The day concludes with a wonderful night between the tranquility of the desert. Supper and overnight remain inside the Erg Chebbi dunes highlighted with the live drum music by local Berbers,bonfire, and an exceptional night beneath the mesmerizing stars of Merzouga.
The last day of Our Private Desert tour from Marrakech to Fes begins with an early wake-up to appreciate the charming sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Taking after a satisfying breakfast, we'll set out on journey across the High Atlas mountains towards Medilt for a lunch break. Leaving Midelt behind, the sub-Saharan territory moves into the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas, home to the Barbary Macaques( the as it were ones of their kind living exterior of Asia). After a stop to watch these interesting monkeys, we continue our drive towards Fes, with a brief break in Ifrane, regularly called the Moroccan Switzerland, offering opportunities to experience snowfall in winter.
