Marrakech to Fes Desert Tour 3 Day via Merzouga
Meet your driver at your hotel at 8:00 a.m. They will take you to the 4×4. Then, you will leave from Marrakech to the Dades valley. You'll go through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. We will travel from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. We will enjoy the scenic road. It has beautiful, colourful landscapes and Berber villages. We will have free time to visit the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and have lunch. Afterwards, we go southeast to the green Dades Valley and the City of Roses. We get there via the fascinating Skoura palmery. Dinner and overnight in Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we'll take the road of 1000 kasbahs. We'll drive around the colourful Berber villages of the Dades valley. 45 km further, you'll get to Tineghir with its beautiful palm grove and Jewish quarter. We'll go to Toudgha Gorges (Todra). You will have free time to trek along the canyons, which are about 300m high. The canyons are a favourite place for rock climbers. After that, we'll leave for the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Sahara Desert. You'll have time for lunch on the way before we arrive in Erfoud. Then we’ll head for the Erg Chebbi dunes. After a welcoming glass of tea in a hotel near the dunes, departure on the camels. Once at the bivouac, we'll take a camel ride to watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. Back at the bivouac, dinner and overnight in tents in the desert (an unforgettable night).
If you're not a sleepy person, wake up early and wait until dawn; the show is unforgettable. After breakfast, we'll return with the dromedaries. Then, we'll leave for our final destination: the imperial city of Fes. We will cross the Ziz Gorge, Er-Rachidia, the Middle Atlas to the Zad Pass and the town of Midelt at 1,488 meters altitude. We will continue in the direction of Azrou, to visit the monkeys, and then again to Ifrane and finally to Fes. The service ends with the drop-off hotel that you've before booked.
